Two editors appointed at Newsquest Dorset
Newsquest Dorset has appointed editors for two of its daily papers.
The Bournemouth Echo has appointed Andy Martin as editor and head of news. He was previously acting editor at the title.
The Dorset Echo has appointed Diarmuid Macdonagh as editor and head of news. He was also previously acting editor.
The move marks a return to separate editors for the titles, which had previously been under the helm of Toby Granville since December 2011. Both Martin and Macdonagh were seconded to their roles in February when Granville took on the temporary role of editorial development director at Newsquest, which has also now been made permanent.
