Trinity Mirror plans to expand Live digital brands
Trinity Mirror has confirmed the expansion of its Live digital brands to the North East, Humber, South East and Devon and Cornwall regions. The move follows the launch of BirminghamLive last month.
The following digital titles will move to the Live brand and adopt a revised newsroom model: GazetteLive, the site of The Gazette (Teeside) becomes TeessideLive, Hull Daily Mail becomes HullLive, Grimsby Telegraph becomes GrimsbyLive and The Herald (Plymouth) becomes PlymouthLive. Digital titles DevonLive, CornwallLive, LincolnshireLive, ChronicleLive, EssexLive and KentLive will move to the revised newsroom model also.
WalesOnline and Manchester Evening News will remain the same, with City sections of WalesOnline, Cardiff, Swansea and Newport, being rebranded to Live.
CheshireLive will also be launched to provide a county-wide digital platform for newsrooms serving Chester, Crewe and Macclesfield.
