TeamRock launching country mag and radio show
TeamRock is launching a country music magazine and radio show.
The multi-platform operation, whose assets include Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Prog, will launch the quarterly Country Music Magazine on September 11, presenting interviews with LeAnn Rimes, Kacey Musgraves, Sturgill Simpson and Carrie Rodriguez to run alongside a Johnny Cash cover piece.
Ahead of the magazine debut, TeamRock has launched a two-hour weekly radio show, which was broadcast on Sunday (September 8) at 4pm and hosted by Rob Hughes, who has presented country on 6 Music and contributed to the magazine's Johnny Cash story. The show will mirror the content of the magazine with songs by artists in the mag being featured.
Country Music Magazine will be edited by Ed Mitchell.
The titles will be added to FeaturesExec shortly.
