Sunday People editorial team to merge with Sunday Mirror

Sunday People's editor James Scott and deputy editor Nick Buckley are set to leave as its editorial team is merged with the Sunday Mirror.

Trinity Mirror confirmed the merger in July, with up to eight jobs to go. Alison Phillips will take on responsibility for the Sunday People, replacing Buckley and Scott. She currently works as weekends editor at the Daily Mirror.
