STV Glasgow launches
STV has launched city TV channel STV Glasgow on Freeview, Sky, Virgin and STV Player.
The launch of the channel, which began broadcasting Monday night, has coincided with a universal refresh of STV's logo and redesign of news programming studio sets.
STV Glasgow's flagship magazine programme 'The Riverside Show' was the first to be broadcast on the station and included live segments from the West End Festival, a performance from Glasgow band The Shiverin' Sheiks and celebrity chef Ilan Hall.
Also on the channel, which is on air daily from midday to midnight, is local half hour news programme 'STV Glasgow News' and 'Peter and Roughie's Football Show', along with a mix of original and acquired programming.
A further city TV channel for Scotland's capital city, STV Edinburgh, will launch later this year.
