UBM, owner of Cruise Shipping Miami, Marintec China and Sea Japan has acquired Seatrade Communications Ltd.

Seatrade Communication's portfolio includes Seatrade, Seatrade Cruise Review and online portal Seatrade Insider.

UBM and Seatrade have a long history of partnering maritime events together. The acquisition will create a unified management structure. Seatrade's executive chairman Chris Hayman will stay with the business, whose headquarters remain in Colchester.
