Screen Digest appoint editor
Tim Westcott has been appointed editor of Screen Digest.
He replaces David Fisher in this role, who had worked on the publication since 1972.
Westcott joined IHS Screen Digest in 2004 and covers the TV industry, specialising in public funding, film and sports rights and animation. He was previously an analyst specialising in public film and audiovisual funding at the European Audiovisual Observatory in Strasbourg. Before that, he worked as an editor and writer for the Financial Times Group and Emap, and contributed to many titles including Broadcast, Variety, and The Guardian as a freelancer.
Screen Digest is the monthly research bulletin of IHS Screen Digest, the pre-eminent firm of industry analysts covering global media markets.
