Revamp for Surrey Comet

The Surrey Comet has undergone a revamp.

The relaunch includes the introduction of a new masthead and new content. The Kingston Life section now includes the regular Unsung Heroes feature and a regular column from TV’s Angellica Bell writing about motherhood. The page also includes a regular column called In my View, which will feature a different person each week and was kick-started by Cabinet minister Edward Davey.

The newspaper has revamped several other regular features such as the heritage page, formerly called Memory Lane and now called Vintage Kingston.

The Comet has introduced refreshed features on education: the first will feature a different school every second week with a 60-second interview with the headteacher, a report card of the school and a story about their accomplishments. A separate education page will look at general issues in education that week and feature a class of the week photo and a column from a school correspondent.

The new-look Surrey Comet also features The Source, where people can find entertainment events.
