Revamp for Computer Arts

Future has announced an extensive revamp of Computer Arts, the creative magazine for those who work, or aspire to work, in the design industry.

The redesigned magazine has a new look and new sections to better reflect and represent the changing needs of the design community.

The new sections on offer are the Design Manual which offers pro advice, shortcuts, tips and techniques, and more, as well as a ten page Photoshop Pro guide which combines Creative Suite skills with HTML5, Flash, 3D, app and mobile content. The monthly cover disc has also been improved, now featuring exclusive video tutorials plus a HD “Studio Life” documentary that goes behind the scenes at a top design agency or studio. Finally, there will also be a greater focus on showcasing commercial work and new talent.

Later in the year the Computer Arts website will be relaunched with a new look and more focus on training content and social media. An app, Inspiration, will also be launched which will showcase the world’s best graphic designers and improve networking amongst artists and the design community.

The first new-look issue of Computer Arts is on sale now priced at £6, and offers free commercial fonts and the second volume of The Incredibly Useful Book for Creative Professionals. It’s also available digitally at Zinio.
