Research Fortnight reporter Barbara Axt has left the magazine.

Axt, who left on 17 March, was covering research policy in the US under a temporary six month contact. She leaves to write on science and technology on a freelance basis.

She will not be replaced, but Rebecca Trager and Colin Macilwain will be sharing responsibility for the US updates.

Research Fortnight is published by Research Research every other Wednesday for British-based medical and pharmaceutical researchers.
