Relaunch for Ceramic Review
Ceramic Review has relaunched for its 45th anniversary with a redesign and additional sections.
The magazine now features sections 'Collectors', 'Makers and Making', 'Up and coming', 'Masterclass', 'Ceramics from history', and 'Ceramics from today', as well as content from the archives of the magazine, reviews of books and shows, and coverage of online activity, such as the new 'Potter's blog' page.
Working on the relaunched title is editor Sue Herdman, who has previously worked at BBC Magazines, and edited National Trust Magazine.
Ceramic Review was originally launched in 1970 by potters Eileen Lowenstein and Emmanuel Cooper for the Craft Potters Association of the UK. Cooper, a potter, teacher, broadcaster, lecturer and gay rights campaigner, was editor of the title from its launch until 2012.
