Emap’s AJ (Architect’s Journal)has redesigned.

AJ will have a more extensive news section and a Comment section with opinions from experts. There will be an additional section called The Critics for reviews and interviews.

AJ has promoted James Pallister from editorial assistant to features writer. Pallister will also be working with Ruth Slavid, online editor, as Barrie Evans has left. Evans was Managing online editor but has left to work freelance.

Kaye Alexander will now be editorial assistant.

Christine Murray has been hired as senior editor of The Critics section. She replaces Andrew Mead.

AJ Specification had hired Talitha Wade as editor. Wade begins in December and replaces Will Hunter. Hunter has left to work for HAB Housing.
