Ramzy Alwakeel appointed news editor at HuffPost (UK)
HuffPost (UK) has hired Ramzy Alwakeel as news editor.
Ramzy will join on 11 November and will be focusing on local journalism and as well as overseeing the site’s news output throughout the UK alongside Jacqueline Housden.
He is currently at Archant as an editor across the Islington Gazette, Hackney Gazette, Ham & High Series and the Brent & Kilburn Times.
