TalkingRetail.com has promoted David Shrimpton from web editor to managing editor.

Shrimpton now oversees the editorial content for TalkingRetail.com, TalkingDrinks.com, MotorTrader.com and Worldtravelguide.net.

John Maher will be taking over as web editor from 28 July.
