Phil Baty has been promoted to deputy editor at Times Higher Education Magazine.

Prior to his promotion, Baty was associate editor of the title.

Baty retains responsibility for the news and opinions section of the magazine. His new role includes deputising for editor Ann Mroz.

Baty will also continue to be the main contact for all news and story ideas.

Times Higher Education magazine is published weekly by TSL Education. It provides education, career and legal advice for those within higher education.
