PA motorsports correspondent moves to Autosport
Autosport has appointed Ian Parkes as F1 editor.
Parkes joins on 4 May from his motorsports correspondent role at Press Association, where he covers Formula 1 racing. He succeeds current F1 editor Jon Noble, who joins Motorsport.com as F1 editor on 14 May.
Parkes has worked at the PA for 18 years, prior to which he was sports reporter at Raymonds Press Agency for five years.
A replacement motorsports correspondent at Press Association is yet to be confirmed. However, there will be temporary cover following Parkes' departure for the first three races in Spain, Monaco and Canada.
