Optician’s features editor, Shannon McKenzie is leaving the magazine.

McKenzie, who is responsible for writing, commissioning & editing all features, leaves on 8 March. She is returning to Australia to join the Medical Observer in Sydney, as medical and professional affairs reporter.

A replacement has not yet been recruited for the weekly Reed Business information magazine.

Optician, which has seen an increase in circulation, provides news, views and comment for optometrists, dispensing opticians and optical manufacturers.
