Sky News programme schedule revealed
Sky News has unveiled a new programme schedule:
From 14 October, Kay Burley will anchor Kay Burley @Breakfast from Sky News’ Westminster studios. The breakfast news programme will air from 7am till 9am, Monday to Thursday and feature interviews with politicians, the latest news stories and address contemporary talking points of the day on culture, tech and climate.
Kay currently presents the Kay Burley Show from 2pm till 5pm. This slot will be replaced with the Sarah-Jane Mee Show, with current Sunrise presenter Sarah-Jane Mee anchoring the programme. As well as covering the main news developments of the day, the show will feature longer-form interviews on topical issues and a daily debate.
Niall Paterson will present The Early Rundown from 6am till 7am each weekday morning. It will have a round up of events from overnight, and throwing ahead to the stories to come, with a strong emphasis on news, business, international affairs and politics.
Stephen Dixon and Gillian Joseph will continue to anchor the breakfast show on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
