New era of diplomacy at BBC News
BBC News has appointed James Landale as diplomatic correspondent, replacing Bridget Kendall who is taking up a new role as Master of Peterhouse, Cambridge University in July.
Landale will join from his deputy political editor role at BBC, and has also previously served as chief political correspondent for BBC News, as well as political correspondent for The Times.
A replacement deputy political editor at BBC News is yet to be confirmed.
