Metropolis has appointed Liz Gyekye as news editor of Packaging News, replacing Simeon Goldstein who is moving overseas later this month.

Gyekye was previously at recycling title Materials Recycling Week (MRW) and has also worked at waste management company Veolia.

Simeon has spent four years at Packaging News, initially as a reporter and as news editor for the last 18 months. His last day will be Tuesday 15 February.
