Dispensing Doctor will end publication with the September 2007 issue being the last.

The quarterly journal, which has been without an editor since the departure of Charlotte Lindsey in July, is published by Haymarket Medical Publications.

Dispensing issues covered by the journal will now be covered in Haymarket’s weekly GP newspaper.

Bettina Vine, the managing editor said: “We just wanted to be a lot more up-to-date as dispensing issues are quite fast-moving at the moment; and a quarterly magazine isn’t the greatest for doing that, hence the switch to coverage in GP and online at healthcarerepublic.com.”
