James Runcie joins BBC Radio 4
BBC Radio 4 has named author James Runcie as commissioning editor for arts. He will be responsible for the development of Radio 4’s arts programming, working with independent and in-house programme makers, external partners and artists.
Runcie, known to many as author of ‘The Grantchester Mysteries’, was previously head of literature and spoken word at Southbank Centre and artistic director of the Bath Literature Festival.
