Hamish Champ has been appointed as editor of PRW (Plastics & Rubber Weekly).

Champ has previously been editor of Music Business International and most recently served as city & business editor at The Publican.

As editor of PRW, Champ will also contribute to the development of the company’s events, online products and growing product portfolio.

He will replace David Eldridge as editor of PRW from early May. After eight years editing PRW, Eldridge will become editor of European Plastics News, the English-language magazine and website for the pan-European plastics industry.

At EPN, Eldridge replaces Chris Smith, who is leaving the company.

His role also encompasses Product Design + Innovation, a new London conference for industrial designers, and its attendant news and blog site pdesigni.com.

PRW and EPN are part of the Plastics News Global Group published by Crain Communications which also includes Plastics News in the USA and the digital PN China eWeekly in Chinese and English.
