Group editor, Mike Fletcher is to leave Haymarket’s RSVP and Event magazine.

Leaving on 1 February, Fletcher will work freelance, specialising in experiential marketing, digital marketing and lifestyle journalism.

Fletcher has edited Haymarket’s media titles for seven years and launched RSVP in 2004.

Event magazine is relaunching on 31 January and will be combined with RSVP magazine. Event will now be run by editor Jeremy King and associate editor Claire Bond, though the role of group editor will not have a replacement.
