Future relaunches iGamer as digital magazine
Future Publishing has announced the relaunch of iGamer as a global interactive iPad magazine.
Now available via Apple’s Newsstand, iGamer is a monthly guide to games on the App Store. Priced at £1.49 for an individual issue, or £7.49 for an annual subscription, iGamer "showcases the very best in iOS gaming every month," says Future. The relaunch issue is free for a limited time.
Neil Long, special projects editor for Future, says: “iGamer has been relaunched to address and acknowledge this exciting new breed of video game. Every month iGamer will feature the best 15 new games from the previous month’s releases and will allow readers to view screenshot galleries, watch gameplay footage and also download the games themselves with a simple tap of a finger.”
Rich Keith, publisher of iGamer, says: “As the games business model continues to evolve, we see the role of mobile and tablet gaming becoming extremely important, and the relaunch of iGamer represents part of a wider strategy to engage with this really exciting sector.”
More information on the title will be available on FeaturesExec shortly.
