Further changes at Johnston Press
Johnston Press has made further internal promotions at a number of its South Yorkshire and North Midlands titles as part of its reshuffle of senior journalists in the region.
Rob Hollingworth, current assistant editor, will become deputy editor of Sheffield Newspapers, which includes The Sheffield Telegraph and The Star (Sheffield).
Kath Finlay will assume leadership of the The Sheffield Telegraph as she moves from being content editor at the Doncaster Free Press to assistant editor.
Julia Rogerson will become newsdesk editor for the Derbyshire Times and Matlock Mercury after undertaking the role in an acting capacity after the departure of Claire Parkin.
Chris Burton, assistant editor of The Star (Sheffield), has been appointed group editor of South Yorkshire Newspapers, which includes the Doncaster Free Press, South Yorkshire Times, Epworth Bells & Crowle Advertiser and Doncaster Star. Burton takes up his position on 21 October.
