Robert Shrimsley to take on Editorial Director role on FT

Financial Times has named Robert Shrimsley as Editorial Director, effective 1 May, in addition to his Assistant Editor role.

Currently Managing Editor of FT.com, Robert will be overseeing development, presentation and promotion of content on the website across all departments. He will also continue to write his Notebook and FT Magazine columns, and can be followed on Twitter @robertshrimsley.
