Engineering Capacity has hired Andy Sandford as editor.

Mary Wellman was previously editor. Wellman is now credited as executive editor but her main role is looking after Mercator Media’s websites.

Sandford took over in November and has previously worked as a freelance writer. He also had his own PR consultancy company for the past five years, focusing on the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

Mercator Media’s Engineering Capacity is a monthly magazine for manufacturers focusing on subcontracting companies and their services.
