Editorial changes at London Evening Standard

The London Evening Standard's deputy editor, Ian Walker, has been appointed as group head of news at The Independent, The Independent on Sunday and i (The Independent).

Sarah Sands remains as editor of the London Evening Standard. 

This follows other editorial changes at the Independent titles, as reported in the FeaturesExec Media Bulletin yesterday (17 June).
