Philippa Mackenzie has been hired as editorial assistant at Construction News.

Mackenzie, who joined the title on 7 July, was previously a freelance.

Her responsibilities include responding to enquiries, helping the reporters with sourcing images, research, collecting data for the website and collecting leads for the magazine.

Also at Construction News, Jennifer Palmer-Violet has been promoted to editorial projects manager.
