Laura Gelder has replaced Annabel Dixon as editorial assistant at BMI Publications.

Gelder will be working across all titles, but with a particular focus on Selling Long Haul and Short Breaks & Holidays.

Prior to joining BMI, Gelder completed her NCTJ diploma in magazine journalism at Brighton City College. She spent four months at Traveller magazine where she was an assistant editor for the 2008 edition of the Traveller’s Handbook and also wrote a feature on Sante Fe, New Mexico.

Published monthly, Selling Long Haul provides news and industry updates for travel agents dealing in long-haul tourism.

Short Breaks & Holidays is a quarterly reference guide to short-haul destinations, aimed at both travel trade professionals and consumers.
