Departure at Johnston Press

Johnston Press group editor Chris Burton left the company on 11 May. Burton was group editor of South Yorkshire Times, The Star (Doncaster), Doncaster Free Press and Epworth Bells & Crowle Advertiser.

A replacement for Burton at the newspapers has not yet been confirmed.

Burton has previously worked as assistant editor at The Star and Sheffield Telegraph and editor at Worksop Guardian
