Craven Herald & Pioneer appoints editor

The Craven Herald & Pioneer has appointed Andrew Hitchon as editor.

Hitchon began his journalistic career with the Craven Herald in 1984.  He now rejoins the team following his previous role as a senior sub-editor at The Press, in York.

The appointment follows the departure of former editor Matt Cornish earlier this year.
