Cornwall Today is joining the Independent Media Group, publisher of Sunday Independent (West Country), following possible closure in March. The magazine was previously part of the Reach plc (formerly Northcliffe/Trinity Mirror) stable and will now change ownership after a deal was arranged between its owners and Independent proprietor Peter Masters. Cornwall Today Editor Kirstie Newton and Graphic Designer Edwin Andrews will continue to work on the magazine and will still be based at High Water House in Truro for the foreseeable future. The July edition of the magazine will be available in shops on 21 June.
