Incisive Media has appointed Chris Wheal as acting news editor. He will be covering for news editor Mairi Macdonald, who started her maternity leave on Thursday 21 July.

Wheal is also news reporter at the adventure motorcycle website xrv.org.uk and a lead blogger for AOL’s www.dailyfinance.co.uk. He is former editor of Insurance Times, and former features editor of Post Mag.
