Changes at Eireann Healthcare
Eireann Healthcare has made some major changes to its medical titles within the first three months of the year.
DiabetesWise and HeartWise, quarterly journals dealing with diabetes and heart disease respectively, will be combined to form CardioDiabetes. The first issue will be published later in the year. It will be a quarterly journal and will continue to be edited by Hazel Agar.
Agar was also editor of OsteoWise, which has recently been incorporated into Modern Medicine (The Irish Journal of Clinical Medicine). It was a quarterly journal which covered recent developments and current thinking in bone disease, but will now be published as a biannual supplement.
Modern Medicine is a bimonthly journal covering the developments in primary care medicine for GPs, consultants and hospitals.
Editor of Modern Medicine and Irish Psychiatrist, Cora Mannion left on 29 February. She has been replaced by Ken Fitzsimons.
Irish Psychiatrist, which has recently changed its frequency from bimonthly to quarterly, caters for all Irish doctors with an interest in psychiatry.
