The British Medical Association has appointed Carol Harris as editor of BMA News.

Harris joins the team on 10 March replacing Julia Bell who left in December 2007. Harris will job-share with current editor Caroline Winter-Jones.

BMA News is a weekly magazine containing topical news, opinion articles and features on the NHS, medicine and finance and recruitment for GPs.
