BBC Scotland to start broadcasting in Autumn 2018

The BBC has confirmed that it will be launching a TV channel for Scotland in Autumn 2018. Plans for BBC Scotland include a 9pm Scottish news hour; the creation of 80 additional posts for journalists; and a 7pm to midnight broadcast every evening. Drama, factual, and comedy programming will feature on the channel.
