BBC News appoints political editor
BBC News has appointed Laura Kuenssberg as political editor, replacing Nick Robinson.
Kuenssberg has been a presenter and chief correspondent at Newsnight since February last year. She was previously business editor at ITV News and prior to that, she was BBC News' chief political correspondent between 2009 and 2011. She tweets @bbclaurak.
