Bauer Media plans to launch Hits Radio
Bauer Media has revealed plans to launch national digital radio station Hits Radio. The station will be aimed at a family-focused audience aged 25-44 and will become the flagship station of Bauer City Network, which will be renamed the Hits Radio Network. The network will incorporate Bauer’s local heritage brands including Gem 106, Metro Radio, Radio City 96.7, Clyde 1 and Forth 1. Key 103 will rebrand to become a localised version of Hits Radio, Hits Radio Manchester. Hits Radio will launch on 4 June, with programming overseen by Content Director Chris Pegg.
