Bauer Media has appointed a senior content team for its Bauer Place Portfolio of radio stations in markets including Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Regional content directors will focus on delivering locally-produced content through online, mobile, social media, FM and digital platforms. The programming teams will now come under the banner of content.

Ande Macpherson is appointed regional content director for the North West, leading teams at Key 103, Radio City and Rock FM. Macpherson joins from More FM in New Zealand where he is network programming director. He can be found tweeting @andemac.

John Dash is regional content director for Yorkshire, working with teams at Hallam FM, Viking FM and 96.3 Radio Aire. Dash moves from Clyde 1 in Glasgow where he has been programme director since 2011. He can be found tweeting @JohnDash.

Brian Paige is regional content director, Scotland (Central Belt), responsible for Clyde 1, Forth One, 96.7 West FM and West Sound FM. Paige was previously programme director at Forth One. He can be found tweeting @brianpaige.

Gary Muircroft is regional content director, Scotland (The Regions), leading teams at MFR (Moray Firth Radio), Tay FM and Northsound 1. Muircroft has been programme director at Northsound 1 for the past three years. He can be found tweeting @GaryMuircroft.

Tom Haynes is promoted to regional programme controller for the North East.

Sam Jackson is appointed director of music for the Bauer Place Portfolio, having worked for the company since 2002.

Chris Pegg is appointed head of breakfast development across 16 stations. Pegg launched Steve & Karen's Breakfast Show on Metro Radio and TFM. He can be found tweeting @chrispegg68.

All appointments are effective from 1 September, except Ande Macpherson who joins Bauer Media at the end of September, and Sam Jackson, who begins with immediate effect.
