Appointments at Evening Standard to follow Ian Walker’s departure
London Evening Standard Editor George Osborne has made a number of appointments at the paper.
Charlotte Ross has been promoted to be the sole Deputy Editor, who will edit the paper in George Osborne’s absence. Charlotte will also continue with her existing roles, which include responsibilities for the features department. She can be found tweeting @CharloRoss.
Additionally, Jack Lefley has been promoted to Associate Editor (News). Jack will remain Head of News.
Both Charlotte Ross and Jack Lefley’s appointments will take effect from 1 September when Deputy Editor Ian Walker leaves the Evening Standard.
Richard Oliver will also be joining the Evening Standard in July as Associate Editor (Production) responsible for editorial production across the Standard. He will be working with David Lucas (Assistant Editor, Production).
