Aberfield chosen by The Jockey Club
Aberfield Communications has been appointed by The Jockey Club East Region to provide PR and influencer support for its Newmarket Racecourses.
One of Aberfield’s objectives will be to challenge perceptions around a ‘day out at the races’ among some consumers to help highlight the appeal to a wide range of audiences including families, younger people, couples and groups. The brief will see Aberfield support the racecourse through an influencer campaign and regional PR, launching with activity around its Moët & Chandon July Festival which takes place between 11 – 13 July.
This win coincides with the appointment of Beth Chaplow as PR consultant. A recent graduate of Oxford University, Beth previously worked as a marketing assistant for homeless charity, Greater Change.
