5TO7 Educator is to relaunch as Primary Teacher Update on 14 September 2011.

The relaunched magazine will have a wider focus than its predecessor, incorporating both Key Stages 1 and 2. Primary Teacher Update aims to provide those who teach in primary schools with essential guidance, support, information and advice on enhancing and improving classroom skills.

The publication will aim to ensure that the bulk of content is written “by teachers for teachers” so that the teacher is put at the centre. It is aimed at all those involved in primary education; from headteachers and their leadership teams, to school business managers, to teachers and teaching assistants.

The first issue of the magazine will have a print run of 7,000. The FeaturesExec entry will be updated closer to the relaunch.
