Journalists to find it easier to send media requests with ResponseSource
We’ve made a raft of changes to the ResponseSource Enquiry Service that should make it easier for journalists to send requests and enable PR professionals to assess the value of requests more easily.
The main change is that the ResponseSource site is now fully ‘responsive’, this means that it works well on mobile devices as well as laptops and desktops. Journalists will be able to submit enquiries on the go, for example on a mobile phone from a conference.
Also of benefit to journalists is the redesigned submit form, we have moved things around a bit and hope this will be more logical, save time for existing users and encourage even more journalists and bloggers to use the service.
Another change is an additional ‘enquiry summary’ field, this allows submitters to include a short sentence identifying what they need in a nutshell. This will help PR recipients to quickly assess whether each request is relevant.
Finally, the whole site is now cleaner with lots of clutter removed and simpler navigation. So whether you’re a journalist or a PR you should be able to find what you’re looking for more easily.
We’re always looking for ideas for improvements so please let us know what you think.
