Reach plc to close Truro and Exeter newsrooms

Reach plc has confirmed it will close its Truro and Exeter newsrooms. The closure will affect print titles The Cornishman, Cornish Guardian, West Briton, Exeter Express & Echo, Torquay Herald Express, North Devon Journal and Mid Devon Gazette as well as digital titles Cornwall Live and Devon Live. Journalists will now work remotely from Reach’s Plymouth hub or hot desk in shared working spaces.
