Meredith sells TIME media brand to Marc and Lynne Benioff

TIME Magazine is being sold by Meredith Corporation to Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff and his wife Lynne Benioff. Meredith only completed its purchase of the magazine in January of this year. The deal is expected to close within 30 days but must receive regulatory approval. It is stated that the Benioff’s will not be involved in the day-to-day operations or journalistic decisions at the magazine, which will continue to be made by Time’s current executive leadership team.
