Ian Savage to leave Newsquest

Newsquest has confirmed that Ian Savage will be stepping down from his role of Group Editor after ten years, a position where he had served as Editor for his hometown newspaper the Bolton News and other regionals.

Nick Fellows, Managing Director of Newsquest North West, has said that Ian will remain in his role until another Editor has been appointed. He added that Ian will retain future involvement in the North West, providing his editorial advice and experience.
