Red Magazine has appointed Emma Krause as beauty & wellbeing assistant.

Krause was previously beauty intern on Red and will now split her time between Red magazine and Psychologies. She is the main point of contact for all beauty enquiries.

Red’s travel pages are now commissioned and edited in-house. Former acting travel editor Lisa Johnson remains as a contributor, but press releases should now be sent to Saska Graville at travel@redmagazine.co.uk

Also at the title, Red’s shopping editor, Joelle Ripper, will not return to the magazine after her maternity leave. From 1 September Katie Germein will be promoted to fashion & shopping editor. She will edit and oversee Red’s shopping section, along with senior fashion assistant Jemima Fairclough. Germein will also continue to contribute fashion stories for the main fashion team.

Laura Fantacci has finished her maternity cover as acting shopping editor at Red, but will return from 1 September as contributing fashion editor to the shopping section.
