Financial Times (FT) appoints US news editor
Financial Times (FT) has appointed Andrew Edgecliffe-Johnson as US news editor. He will begin his role from October and will coordinate the FT's daily Americas news coverage globally.
Edgecliffe-Johnson has worked at the Financial Times for 16 years, most recently as global media editor since 2005. He replaces Gary Silverman who becomes US national editor while remaining as US deputy managing editor. Both are based in New York.
